The "Longhorn" name was given to a short-lived series of jazz basses that were built with a longer upper body horn to facilitate more comfortable playing. The body is constructed of three piece alder with maple neck and rosewood fretboard inlaid with white position markers. The body has a sunburst finish with white pickguard. The bass guitar is held in a custom sized Fender hard shell case.
