FENDER® Custom Vintage Stratocaster Heavy Relic

This Fender® Custom Shop Stratocaster has the "Vintage Heavy Relic" treatment. The ash body
has a "Thinskin" nitrocellulose lacquer finish with a satin finish neck. The 9.5" neck radius
with 6105 Dunlop Fret Wire facilitates very aggressive string bending and the large headstock
adds to the great sustain.
The sound of a '50s Strat, but with a little bit more attitude, the Fat 50's Pickups deliver
enhanced bass response without the harsh mid-range. These Custom Shop pickups are constructed
with cloth lead wires, fiber bobbins, and are wax potted in a special potting machine to insure
that your pickups will be free of microphonics. These calibrated pickups feature hand beveled,
staggered Alnico 5s and Formvar magnet wire. The middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity
for hum canceling in positions 2 & 4.
