The soundmodule of the DD 602 is well designed and simple to operate and can also be exchanged by Yamaha and Roland sound modules. The speed of repetitation has been improved and is now far better than before. It includes 30 different Preset-Kits and 240 Drum- and Percussion sounds. Other features include freely programmable click, as well as 5 editable reverbs and 50 saved playback songs. It also offers 4 memory spaces to record user tracks. Also included are MIDI connection, stereo master outputs enabling connection of a sound system, and Aux-Inputs to connect a CD-Player. The Padset includes Kick-, Snare-, Hi-hat-, 3 Toms- and 2 cymbal pads. Through the skin tension of the Pads, the player has an almost authentic Bassdrum, Snare and Tom playing feeling.The FAME DD 602 can be expanded anytime with additional hardware or controller units from the upper range systems, making this the ideal beginners set.
