When only high-powered performance will do, turn to the SVT-1000 to get the job done. With up to 1350-Watts RMS output and state-of-the-art Optocoupler Limiters to prevent unwanted power amp distortion, the Ampeg SVT-1000 is a veritable workhorse. The Texture Control ("tube-emulation" circuit) can be used to overdrive the amplifier, creating a more aggressive sound—without any of the typical (and harsh-sounding) clipping often associated with solid-state electronics. The onboard 9-Band Graphic EQ can be used to fine-tune your sound, or you might want to use it to set up a "second channel" for bass solos, complete with its own independent volume control.
