MMC 1A dispone di un ingresso di linea ed un ingresso Instrument separati. L'ingresso microfonico dispone dell'alimentazione fantasma, inversione di fase e Pad -20dB. Tutti gli inressi includono un filtro passa basso.

Il compressore è di tipo ottico a 3 bande, progettato per mantenere un'ottima somme delle tre bande con un'eccezionale risposta in frequenza.
